are a family run bed and breakfast with a very warm welcome.
Situated in the heart of Alton village in Staffordshire, this
17th Century Inn offers a friendly atmosphere with log fire,
home cooking and real ale. Our guesthouse is ideally located
for visitors to Alton Towers from anywhere in the UK.
Alton
Towers is a few minutes drive away so with the UK's leading
theme park close by, The Bulls Head Inn is an ideal guest house
for bed and breakfast accommodation during your visit to the
park attractions. We are also only a short drive from the Peak
District National Park and the Amber Valley. We are close to
the spa town of Buxton, the market town of Leek and the Potteries.
This area has all the UK's leading factory shops including the
famous Wedgwood factory. Within that area is Stoke on Trent,
a Staffordshire city made up of six towns (Burslem, Hanley,
Stoke-upon-Trent, Tunstall, Fenton and Longton).
The
village of Alton is set in some of the most beautiful countryside
in the UK, known as the Churnet Valley, and is right on your
doorstep literally. After spending a day at Alton Towers you
can wander around exceptional countryside, return to your guesthouse,
very close to Alton Towers, and relax for the evening.
The
Bulls Head Inn and guesthouse has recently refurbished the restaurant
and can boast a great standard of food from our Chef. We are
able to serve food in the bar as well as the restaurant, and
can also offer a snack menu and a children's menu. The oak beamed
restaurant has a slate floor and pine tables and chairs which
give a real homely atmosphere with a log burner and candlelit
tables.
This
guesthouse, so close to Alton Towers, has 7 ensuite rooms including
a family suite. All rooms have a colour TV and tea and coffee
making facilities, even the children have their own TV.
We
welcome small parties and are very popular for hen or stag parties
due to the proximity of a certain theme park with a corkscrew
fountain and thrill rides.
